1. Setting The Timer

Follow the given instructions for setting the timer for the oven:
Step 1. Press the WEI.ADJ or CLOCK button.
Step 2. Rotate the MENU/TIME dial until the “hour” according to your preference pops up.
Step 3. Press the WEI.ADJ or CLOCK button.
Step 4. Rotate the MENU/TIME dial until the “minutes” according to your preference pops up.
Step 5. Finally, set the timer by pressing the WEI.ADJ or CLOCK button.
2. Microwave Modes

One area where convection microwaves are better than solo microwaves are the modes that come along with the appliance. IFB microwaves can be easily customized & set the power & timer according to your requirements with Microwave cooking. All you need to do is:
Step 1. Press the MICRO button for selecting a power level. The number of times you must press the button depends on the degree of power you want for your cooking. Refer to the table mentioned below for a better understanding.

Step 2. Rotate the MENU/TIME dial and set the timer as per your requirement. However, you can go up to a maximum of 95 minutes.
Step 3. Push the START button.
Note:
- Press the STOP/RESET button once to stop a cooking session temporarily, then press START to resume cooking, or press the STOP/RESET button twice to cancel the cooking program entirely.
- The device will beep four times and show END when the cooking time is finished. By clicking the STOP/RESET button, you may clear the display and reset the system before starting another cooking session.
3. Grilling Mode

Grilling is considered very useful, despite the grilling function of a microwave not being as good as an OTG oven, it can be used to cook steaks, pieces of chicken, kebabs, thin slices of meat, sausages, and chops. It may also be used to make hot sandwiches and gratin dishes. Let’s say you want to set the grill to cook for 12 minutes:

4. Convection

Step 1. To activate convection temperature, press the CONVECTION button.
Step 2. Refer to the table given below for setting the convection temperature:

- By pushing the CONVECTION button during cooking, you may monitor the convection temperature.
5. How To Preheat Microwaves?
Most baking recipes commence with directions to pre-heat your oven, which is a crucial step. Yet, most people tend to have minimal knowledge of how to preheat microwave or why it is important. It implies preheating an oven to an optimum temperature before placing the batter in the microwave to bake.
We should always remember to first pre-heat the microwave to the temperature stated in the instructions. The preheating method differs depending on the different brands of the oven. You can only preheat with the convection mode. Do not place any type of baking tray inside the oven while preheating. Always preheat your oven empty. Now, for preheating your oven:
Step 1. Switch on the oven and press the convection option once.
Step 2. You will see “110 C” on the screen along with “CONV” below it. 110 C is the starting temperature, and CONV below means that the oven is now in convection mode.
Step 3. Keep on pressing the same option until you get the temperature you want. Stop after you’ve reached the required temperature.

Step 5. You will find “PREH” on the screen, which means that the oven is getting preheated. The timer has already been set for 30 minutes. However, it will not take that long. When the oven reaches the required temperature, PREH will turn off.
Step 6. Once the preheating is stopped, you can check the temperature with a thermometer.
Step 7. Place the microwave-compatible cake bowl/container inside the oven.
Step 8. Press “CONVECTION” and select the same temperature as before.
Step 9. Set the timer
Step 10. Press the START button to begin baking.
Note: If you’re baking more than one batch of cookies in multiple trays, it would be wise to keep the next tray ready before the first one comes out of the oven. If you’re unsure, you can go for preheating the oven all over again.
6. Microwave + Grill

This function allows you to cook on both the grill and the microwave at the same time using two separate settings. To pick a suitable combination setting, push this button once or twice, then spin the TIME/MENU dial to enter the required cooking time at the screen display. The system starts counting down when you press the start button.
One can set this function in 2 different combinations:
I. 30% Microwave + 70% Grill

7. Microwave + Convection

This oven contains 4 “pre-sets: that allow you to cook food such as khichdi, moong dhal and Kale chips automatically with convection heat and microwave. To change the convection temperature, press the MICRO+CONVECTION button. Refer to the table given below for a better understanding:

Let’s say you wish to bake a cake on COMB3 for 24 minutes. So, for setting the oven at this function:
- Press the CONVECTION+MICROWAVE button 3 times.
- To program the cooking time, turn the TIME/MENU dial.
- Press the START button to begin.

- The maximum cooking time for convection is 9 hours and 30 minutes. After the time has passed, along with 4 beeps, you will find the sign END displayed on the screen. Before commencing another cooking operation, use the STOP/RESET button or open the door to clear the END.

8. Speed Defrost

Let’s say you want to thaw frozen meals for 5 minutes.
Step 1. Turn the TIME/MENU dial until the numbers “08” and “CODE” appear.
Step 2. Press and hold the WEI.ADJ. Button.
Step 3. To configure the defrosting time, turn the TIME/MENU dial as per the requirement.
Step 4. Press the START button to begin.
Note:
- · The general rule of thumb for raw or previously cooked frozen food is 8 minutes per pound. For 1 pound of frozen spaghetti sauce, defrost for 8 minutes.
- · Remove or segregate the defrosted pieces within the oven at regular intervals by stopping them. If the food is not completely defrosted within the estimated time, schedule the oven for 1 more minute until it is.
- · While utilizing the freezer’s plastic containers, defrost them long enough to detach plastic and set them on a microwave-compatible plate.
- · The maximum duration for defrosting is 45 minutes. After this time has passed, you will hear 4 beeps and find the word END displayed on the screen. To clear END, press the RESET button or open the door before starting another cooking process.
9. Multi-Stage Cooking
One can program or set this oven in 3 different cooking sequences. Let’s say you are willing to set the following sequence: Speed defrosts ->Microwave cooking ->Convection cooking (without preheat function).
Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial until the numbers “08” and “CODE” appear.
Step 2. Press and hold the ADJ. button.

10. Auto Menu Settings

The “AUTO MENU” feature allows you to cook and reheat meals without having to specify a power level or time.
I. Baked Potato
- Step 1. For baking 1 potato: Press the WEI.ADJ. button once and the oven will be automatically set for 5 min 40 sec
- Step 2. For baking 2 potatoes: Press the WEI.ADJ. button twice, and the oven will be automatically set for 9 min 40 sec
II. Popcorn
Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial till it displays the numbers “03” and the word “CODE” on the screen,
Step 2. Press the WEI.ADJ button once, and the cooking duration will automatically be set for 3 min 20 sec.
Step 3. Press the START button to begin cooking.
Step 4. In case you want to reset the time:
Step 5. Rotate the MENU FUNCTION ADJUSTING dial to display the number “03” and the word “CODE” on the screen.
Step 6. Press WEI.ADJ button 2 times
Step 7. Once again, rotate the MENU FUNCTION ADJUSTING dial to program the new popcorn Time.
Step 8. Press the START button to verify.
Note: The new popcorn time will remain whenever you use the POPCORN function until you reset it.
III. Reheat
Leftovers, drinks, and refrigerated meals with a temperature of 5-10 degrees Celsius, such as pizza, are common choices for reheating. Usually, the weight of:
Step 1. Leftover rice or dishes, chicken, duck, fish, veggies, soup, etc. ranges between 200–500g
Step 2. Leftover refrigerated Pizza ranges between 200–300g
Step 3. 2-3 leftover cups of beverages: 120~200ml each
Step 4. One can also utilize the “zero” microwave power as a timer, and it may also function to cool down the components of the microwave oven.
For Reheating:
- Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial till it displays the number “04” and the word “CODE” on the screen.
- Step 2. Press WEI.ADJ button and the oven will be automatically set for 3 min 40 secs.
- Step 3. Press the START button to begin reheating.
IV. Pizza
a) For roasting a pizza of 3 to 4 oz:
Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial till it displays the number “05” and the word “CODE” on the screen.
Step 2. Press the WEI.ADJ button 1 time and the baking time will be displayed.
Step 3. Press the START button to begin.
b) For roasting a bigger pizza:
Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial till it displays the number “05” and the word “CODE” on the screen.
Step 2. Press the WEI.ADJ button 2 times, and the baking time will be displayed.
Step 3. Press the START button to begin.
Note: After you reheat a pizza, the taste of the pizza will not be the same. You might find the pizza soggy which is just one of the disadvantages of using a microwave to reheat food.
V. Meat Skewers
Step 1. Rotate the TIME/MENU dial till it displays the number “06” and the word “CODE” on the screen.
Step 2. Press the WEI.ADJ button for the required number of times (refer to the table given below) and the baking time will be displayed.
